Dynamic and results-oriented professional with a background in marketing, research, and data-analysis, eager to leverage strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills in a communications role. Committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective use of public funds in support of community organizations.I am also a graduate of Linfield College where I got my undergraduate degree in Mass Communication and Psychology. I am constantly looking for overlaps in these two fields and using them to bolster my understanding of one other. I am interested in advertising, social media and research design.
Where I am from:
I am originally from Denver, Colorado.
Growing up in Colorado I fell in love with the mountains and spending time outdoors whether I am camping in the Rockies or exploring the Oregon coast.
Why Mass Communication
In high school I became interested in journalism after years of being on the yearbook staff, and eventually the editor in chief. I loved the design aspect of yearbook as well as getting to learn more about the school and its students. After a year studying journalism at Linfield College I decided to diversify my studies and began taking psychology classes. The intersection between strategic communications and social psychology is especially interesting to me.
